I'm by no means kicking any sand here.... but @KCalhoun.... how'd the ultra VIX etf's (UVXY) play out portfolio-wise on Friday? Weren't you planning on adding 3500 shares? They ran to $11.21 in the first 30minutes, but closed at $10.40, down on the day. That's a 7% haircut fwiw. I hope you didn't hold over the weekend.

If anyone here thinks there's such a thing as a free lunch..... you better have some deep pockets.

I sold inverses premkt for a profit Friday before the bell. But I overtraded and ended slightly in the red Friday. I rebought light size UVXY etc aftermarket Friday, and again will sell Monday premkt if it drops. Or scale in if it runs.

I hope we get volatility next week, last week was choppy except for tue. Best wishes all

looks like you may get paid on monday morning based on that nasty 1 hour red candle stick that started at 10 pm est on futes....we shall see...there is that always wild 3 am or 4 am move by futes.

Indeed, see the chart of my Renko system. There was definitely a reversal between between 2:23 pm and 2:30 pm today. It waited till 3 pm to go long as it is a trend-following system (a bit laggy).
It then had 3 winning trades before the close for 11, 7, and 3 pts...so 21 pts total.

Bottomline: my system has the math and picks-up on trends and trend reversals.
Indeed Vanny, it's all in the math....which helps to set the profit targets and trailing stops.

uh-oh....futes is down today 9/20/22. u fellas saw the move starting around 3:22 am est this morning? what did i tell u about the 3 am - 4 am move? just like clock work...rinse and repeat.
