tomorrow is rollover day

Change charts and trading platform!

I'm perfectly happy with my trading platform, which I've been using for five (5) or so years now. Why do you feel it's necessary to suggest we change our trading platform during rollover?

I'm not suggesting that you change your trading or charting software. Just the contract that is active.

You clearly said, "change charts and trading platform!" - which indeed does suggest that we change our trading platform when updating the forward contract symbol. If you didn't mean that, I suppose you would have said, "change the active contract symbol."

There are newcomers to this forum, and your wordiness combined with lack of semantic accuracy is likely adding to their confusion.

This might be the stupidest 15pager I've seen on ET.

Actually it is not a bad thread, why start a new thread every quarter?

Hey Jay poop. Tomorrow is roll over day. Don't forget to set your alarm and get up early. Let's keep this thread going!

Thanks for the update. Believe it or not once my broker saw me trading the day of a contract rollover and called to remind me that after futures close, the contract will be rollover or I would be forced to take delivery.

For those that don't think these reminders are important, just look what happened to this trader.

well, today is just a day when many traders rollover their contracts. The actual expiration isn't until next week. I'm actually still trading ESH1 today as there's still a lot more volume in that contract.
