Tom Williams VSA Book Free in PDF

Quote from hcour:

Ok, there ya go. I would just caution those who read it that Williams does the hard-sell on his software in the book. Ignore that, the software cannot do Wyckoff pv interpretation, no matter what he claims. It's impossible to quantify pv analysis except in the utmost simplistic manner. At best it might be used as a learning tool. It is a discretionary methodology, not an automatic system. Having said that, the book does offer excellent and valid insights into pv analysis. I'd also suggest joining the Yahoo SMI Wyckoff board at:

Lots of good info in the Files section.

Yes hcour, I used the s/w about a year ago and abandoned it after a week. Some of the material by Tom was the only useful stuff I found there.

Epik,
Very much appreciate you forwarding the VSA book. Am on a tight budget and never would have bought it. Will make for fun reading over the holidays - thank you!

The free WinAce program I downloaded to open the file I got from you came with popup ads every five minutes even after removing the software. Just finished restoring and its okay now so was for sure worth it.

You are welcome 1358june and sorry to hear about the 'ad attack'. Use something like Zipgenius ( www.zipgenius.it ) next time around. :)

Also, in case if I have missed out on anyone, please PM me again, this is my first time handling so many PMs :p

Hello epik: Your doing great. Thanks for the tip about Zipgenius as I'll try that over the weekend... It'll be almost like opening a Christmas present.... Ho-Ho-ho... Merry Christmas...
agpilot.

Ps: I've most of the Wyckoff books so it will be very interesting to compare this info with those books...

This is definitely one of the better books out there. A bit cheesy at times - but better than the vast majority of Scahbaker/Edwards & Magee cribs.

I wouldn't get tooooo involved in Volume Spread analysis - the key takeaway is understanding why a move happened via the context in which the move occurred.

e.g a single spike can occurr for different reasons and the context of what came before can help you interpret what is going down. It's not the last candle it is taking the chart back and understanding the current price action in terms of the context in which this move happened.
