Todays price action - GET USE TO IT

Quote from ProfLogic:

Sorry, didn't mean to sound, snide and teacheresk.

Ok, increase the speed of your charts to give you more oscillations. More oscillations mean more trading decisions. More decisions mean more profit potential. The only problem with that is the faster the charts the more noise is integrated into the charts. More oscillations does mean you need to be more conservative.

During the Summer we increase the speed of our charts and it more than compensates for the lower liquidity. I agree with the other posters though that today is a bit more reserve but still more than tradable and readable.

No offense takin

Not a bad idea but I'm not broken only bored :)

Anek,

Chill brother ... it's all good

Well it turned out to be an ok day (to my surprise) but I did still find price action fairly anemic albeit directional.

Quote from saliva:

You're missing the point. This volatility is due to lack of liquidity, which is the direct result from this latest ban on shortselling.

Bingo.. The volume is drying up very quickly.. As a trader, you do NOT want this.

Even on friday I sensed a complete drop in volume late morning till about 3:00.

Yesterday the volume was pathetic for what it SHOULD be on a day like that..
