There always has been that competitive thing amongst guitar players and their fans. I never liked competition much as the alternative for cooperation, in anything its sorta ugly. I've heard all these guys alone and thats the preferred format for listening to them. Here they seem to struggle where distinguishing themselves and making room for the other is concerned and the
music suffers, that is as compared to the tune played by just one of them. I struggle to appreciate any symbiosis. Joe taught Vai early on but I'll bet they can techniquely do whatever riffs the other can. Its interesting here that the player who "brings it down" the most, that is gets quiet and clever is the more interesting rather than the player who's wailing. Thats where its at for me ...clever even comical. Joe Walsh is a master at that.
We've heard alot at our age by now so we want taste and aren't so easily impressed by speed alone. I just bought Satriani Live in San Francisco on DVD and its just the coolest. 14 bucks at Barnes Noble.

I LOVE MILEY CYRUS

I am pleasantly surprised by the good taste in music my fellow ETers have. I've always thought of traders as unsophisticated simpletons.

How about this:
