Today will be interesting. Will the Naz hold the 50 dma ?

what is the exact definition of "naz hold the 50 dma on a closing basis" and how is it measured? In fact what is the exact definition of "to hold" and "to break"?
%%
Meaning close on or above 50dma....................................................................; based on close price.[Some use a settlement price, I prefer close my self as op hinted .There is some wiggle room============== simple ma , smooth ma,ex, v0lume weighted ma..........+ different chart services have a bit ao a differ on those exact #. If that is confusing just use a exponential 50dma/200dma ex ma....................................................................

exactly - no one can define, measure or substantiate "hold the ma, or to hold support or hold the dp" nor can they define to "break the ma, or support or dp". Remember: a thing that cannot be measured cannot be understood and discussing a dma is foolish and without trade understanding. Same can be said for channels (Keltner, Donchian), horizontals (highs, lows, etc.) and curve-linear (Fibo lines).
