:) Thanks. I always clarify to people when I'm in conversations with them about the fact that she's Russian - that I lived there for several years. We met in the Hard Rock Cafe (I actually dated her friend first...hah).

That reminds me, when i was younger, my friends dad got married to some Chinese woman, and we were visiting and he was showing us pictures, and she was nothing special to look at, so i cracked that same joke about her being a mail order bride, assuming he had just met her while tavelling. All of a sudden everything went silent, it turned out he actually did meet her on one of those online dating sites where you meet people overseas looking for Canadians, and it was a soar spot with his family who thought he was getting fleeced. Needless to say, i was pretty much silent the rest of the night trying to remove my gigantic foot from my mouth.

I met a guy on the airplane once coming back from Moscow. Told me he had met his fiancee through the internet and he was on his way home to prepare all the documents for her immigration through marriage. I just just listened most of the flight and nodded.

Yeah, anyone i have ever heard of doing that ends up getting fleeced, though my buddies dad and his wife are still together 15 years later.

This is the best dodge you could come up with? So you don't mind posting your children's photos. But you're too chicken shit to post your own? I guess if an intruder broke into your overpriced house your father-in-law bought you. You'd hide behind your kids.
