To run NinjaTrader with Trading Technologies ...

Yes, I was recently quoted several thousand dollars a month for the TT FA adapter, which you need to run NT with TT. This was on top of the X_Trader monthly fee.

Hmm, I don't know why it is that expensive! Is TT really charging that much for it? Or that firm is getting some nice risk-free money?

chinook and abattia, you are asking the wrong questions or not understanding the answers or being quoted ripoff pricing.

The broker runs the TT Fix Adapter, not the customer. The customer runs a 3rd party app (such as NinjaTrader) or their own custom FIX software that connects to the TT Fix Adapter. The customer then pays a per contract fee (5 to 15 cents) to TT. The per contract fee is usually included in the commission.

You need to talk to a broker that runs the TT Fix Adapter.

Velocity Futures includes the TT per contract fee in their commissions.

Advantage Futures gives you the choice of paying $2000 a month or 5 cents a side for your own FIX app.

Advantage Futures charges 15 cents a side TT fee for NinjaTrader users.

No customer would bother to use 3rd party software and the TT Fix Adapter if they had to pay thousands a month and a per contract fee.

Given the comparison pricing you have posted... yes, I think that's the case!

Thanks!

Thanks jeb9999, that's what I was trying to figure out! It looks like somebody would pay $2k for this if they are doing lot of volume. Otherwise per contract pricing will be reasonable.

I was kind of quoted $2k/month for this but I wasn't made aware of the per contract pricing...
