Christians are waiting too. If waiting was a religion they would be in the same one.
Waiting is actually a psychological game of delay. Theres nothing to wait for. Anyones soul could be experiencing "heaven" and "see" the "messiah" tomorrow at 8 AM or this evening at 6 pm ....if they were READY. Literally no delay from the moment of readiness to the moment of experience. Anyone still experiencing "this world" (condemnation) is STILL not ready.
Readiness is something we accept. Regardless the lip service, Christians have not yet accepted 'Christ". Proof is their experience, and their identity is still grounded/anchored 'here".
Christians have accepted Christ as their savior. That is why they choose to be known as Christians.
Remember, Christ was a Jew. It took many years after his death for people to form the cult that then later became to be known as "Christianity".
They were all folks who followed the old covenant of Moses and the Torah. They decided that they would start spreading the radical ideas that Christ represented, and so became known as "Christians".

Disneyland characters? Well, I suppose since Disney and Hollywood have made movies about everything else, why not make a movie about the biggest conundrum in spiritual thought in the last FIVE THOUSAND YEARS?!?!
Well it depends on what they are trying to save. You see, you can save "you", or you can save Christ. Jesus tried to explain this when challenging listeners to lay down their own lives for Christ"s life (for Christ's sake). Then, if you identify with Christ, you wont lose your life. But if you continue to identify as a human, you will lose your life, like every human does.
Its a fact that every Christian denies being Christ, thus, they are predominantly occupied with saving the humanoid identity. They even claim that Jesus (Christ) now sports a humanoid identity. Thus, by believing a false narrative about Christ, they do effectively 'save' their humanoid identity, essentially saving themselves. This will manifest as reincarnation, offering them opportunity to be born again, either to finally learn and accept the truth (about Christ) or to continue prolonging the humanoid (condemned) experience.
Christ does not save the humanoid experience, neither to bring it into 'heaven' nor to transplant a better version into a reconstituted planet/solar system. Christ saves Christ (the Truth) from all that would destroy Christ (all that is false). Thus, Christ is saved from the humanoid (condemned) experience, which is part of a false narrative about Christ. Christians 'accept' the false narrative to save themselves from returning to the Christ experience, their original state of Being. They are still running from Reality (rejecting Christ).
The false narrative is their 'savior'. The true narrative is an existential threat to the humanoid experience. It is currently still being rejected by the majority of all humanoids, and especially Christians who depend on a dead Christ for their so- called 'life'.
Ask any Christian if they are Christ, the definitive answer is NO! Ask any Jew if they are Christ, the definitive answer is NO!
Both groups equally reject Christ as an identity, that is, as one's SELF. This defines them. There are 101 ways to reject Christ as one's SELF. "I am a Christian", and, "I am a Jew" are two ways to deny Christ.
Christ (Jesus) was not a Jew, because he accepted the fact that he was Christ. No Jew, nor any Christian, accepts the fact that their soul (their true Self) is Christ.
Jesus path to knowing he is Christ is not taught by any Jewish traditions. It was taught, at that time, mainly in the east, in an underground version of Hindu called Advaita Vedanta. It teaches that the Self, the true Self, is one with, the same as, equal to the Most High, which, in that tradition is called Brahman. Nothing in Jewish tradition comes even close to this, which explains why most of the friction against Jesus comes from those among the Jews who knew their traditions/scriptures the best (scribes, Pharisees, lawyers). Any such notion that one is the Most High is, in Jewish tradition, blasphemy. So no, he was not a Jew ideologically, although he may have shared some bloodline, which means nothing and matters not at all.
Sure enough, Christianity is indeed a bastardized version of Judaism. Judaism is worthless, and so, Christianity is double worthless, as it does not represent any kind of improvement. Yes, Jesus was an authentic teacher who understood and experienced what he taught. But it does no one any good to misunderstand what he says, or worse, misrepresent what he says. The end result is the same; damnation, which is the continuation of the status quo. The status quo is where every human dies, over and over, in a stalemate in a war with the Truth.
The term for Judaizing the messages/teachings of Jesus so that they fit within the Jewish religion is called: Judaizing. The apostate Paul was chief amongst the Judaizers, even though he himself complained about Judaizers. He was mainly talking about folks like James. There were some, like James, who were still so Jewish, they made Paul look progressive by comparison. But don't be fooled, Paul worked just as hard to force a round peg into a square hole, or as Jesus might say, put old wine into new wineskins. What Jesus taught is/was completely NEW to any Jew. That was unacceptable to any Jew who was not willing to sell everything he had (abandon every last vestige of Judaism totally).
Any attempt to fit what Jesus taught (new wine) into the Jewish religious tradition (old wine skins) will ruin both the old wine skin, and the new wine.
