Titillating read...

Nope, he was mounting a case against Trump. I believe it was over his charity but honestly can't remember.

Indeed, Trump had a lot of stuff he needed swept under the rug for himself and others but he was on the criminally shady side of the Big Apple tree before becoming president.

Preet was also investigating Fox News at the time and of course there's the President's claim that he was wiretapped in Trump Tower on orders of then-President Obama, whose investigation led back to the Southern District of New York.

There is just so much with the creep but poor men, economic slaves really, must learn to forgive the boss. Learn to love their abuser or go mad.

Nope, he was mounting a case against Trump. I believe it was over his charity but honestly can't remember.

No. Preet operated as a political hack and - just as I said- he was a bone that was tossed to Schumer in the beginning to get kissy-faced with Schumer. Then things soured with Schumer bigtime so he just tossed preet out with the rest of the US attorneys, or asked for their resignation so that they could be considered a anew.

But let me play along with you and examine this.

The assertion is that Trump fired preet because he had a trump related investigation in process. Further there is an assertion among lefties that preet was fired because he was Mr. Integrity and would not speak directly with Trump because it would be improper -within the chain of command - for a u.s. attorney to speak directly with a president or president elect - and especially if there was an investigation in process against said president.

Fine. So you think Preet did not know that he had thoughts, plans, or actual investigation in process against Trump when he met face to face with Trump at Trump towers to discuss his job after the election? Political Hack Boy Preet did not have any trouble speaking directly with a president or president elect when he thought it could be good for him did he? And how professional was it for Mr. Integrity to be chumming it up over at Trump Towers and talking about job offers from someone he was actively investigating and considering p?rosecuting if I am to accept your argument?

It is just as I said, Comey and Preet Bhahara both played the same game. They both now claim that interactions with trump were below their professional dignity - except they were fine with everything until they found out they did not have a job.

I don't know if Trump was corrupt or not. But, I doubt Preets firing changed the investigation.

But...

What you don't do if you wish to keep your job is not take a call from the President during attorney firing season.

its so obvious, I don't know why that is an issue.
Preet did not take the call because he did not want to be fired at that time over the phone. He was not afraid to talk to trump again. That is such b.s.
