Quote from TimothySykes:
You really gotta calm down. I didn't write the PR, my PR firm did. They interviewed me and thats why they used my quotes.
I'm pretty calm, Timmy : )
The problem isn't with hiring a PR firm. Everyone who has a book to flog does it. The problem is with the blatant lies you are telling about it.
Longhorns asked you if you wrote the piece.
You said 'No, I got interviewed'.
Now it turns out that the 'interview' was done by the PR firm which
you hired.
So tell us... will you now publicly state that it is your contention that when someone says 'I was interviewed', it is generally accepted that what is meant is that the person paid someone to interview them? Is that the generally accepted import of the term 'interviewed'?
If it is not, then your response to the question of authorship was a damn lie, since in fact you wrote this article (albeit through the pen of a paid ghostwriter).
Secondly, you posted this piece with a fake 'newswire' header, which is meant to convey the impression that this 'article' was a piece of news generated by a legitimate news gathering organization, as opposed to a paid-for piece of advertising. Was that your decision, or did the PR guys put you up to it?
(breathing deeply and thinking nice thoughts...)
By the way, the only reason I'm taking it easy on you (and Timmy, believe me, I
am taking it easy on you) is that you seem to have some support from RM, whom I respect.
Once again, I will suggest that you just quit lying. Flog the DVD and you will get sheeple to buy it. I've only posted in response to your lies, never in reference to the fact that you're flogging a product.
