As you ride the Pony of Life, you yung uns will find out that self respect is a silver bullet in your bandolere. Take a look at the shit storm Tobias left. Or Milken. Do you want that to be your legacy? Some of you will chance it, and rationalize that you can make it all work. But it's pretty obvious to even a casual observer like myself, that somebody who recommends shorting a stock with no available locate, makes a paper trade, and portends to be talking to the masses is somebody elses' cup of tea.

I hope the kid makes a hundred million. Doesn't affect me. I just hope nobody gets hurt.

Good point, if Sykes was really consistently successful then we would have NEVER even heard of him because he would be too busy making money for himself and investors/family/friends.

Instead, we get timmay SPAMFEST......

1. For the last time: CHNR was/is shortable, just because you couldn't find a locate, doesn't mean others couldn't. Some others on ET even said they shorted it--I think "gaj" is his screen name.

2. What paper trade--I've repeatedly said I've been trading the the small amount of cash I have outside my hedge fund since I'm still in the process of closing my fund down.

3. Talking to the masses--I haven't even begun yet, patience brother, I've got some big things lined up...I'm only 26, talk to me in 5-10 years and we'll see how I've done.
