OK JSSPMK, you saying that speaks volumes in and of itself.
The kid (and yes, he is a "kid" to me) is an intuitive marketing genius who also just happened to get lucky enough to make a million dollars in the market and is till holding on to 1/2 of it.
Oh people, people, people.![]()
What more can I say.

Trading is, ultimately, a probability game, right?
So think of it like this. What are the chances of the scenario that I just described happening in someone's life? ... is it sinking in now?
Yep, I knew you were going to say that ... but it isn't necessarily true.Quote from JSSPMK:
Sure, so he ought to be able to do it again & again & again in that case

Very well said. The negative embarrassment now totally overrides his previous "accomplishment".Quote from EPrado:
I think you have to stop living in Tim's past. What he did was impressive at that time.
I think most on here aren't ripping him for his performance back then..its the way he acts. I mean...lets be real.....he has become a major embarassment over the last 2 years.
This will never happen. There's a reason timmay has become a 200 share trader. The reason is that $500K (if he has that) is nothing in nyc, it buys him maybe 5 more yrs there in his little one bedroom apt if he doesn't start making real money fast. And from what I see, he now has no real source of income. Hence, you now see his desperation.Quote from JSSPMK:
I think he should take that $500k and attempt to turn it into $5m on LIVE TV

Embarrassment? How?Quote from Bob Rowshan:

Embarrassment? How?
Is he going around to parties and getting totally shit-faced?
No
Is he going on Oprah and plagarizing books?
No
Is he driving once well-respected and well-known investment banks into the shitter with his greed and avarice?
No
So where's the embarrassment?
... LOL
Your concepts of what is and what is not a lot of money are very skewed my friend.
You've been watching waaaay to much TV.
LOL, I KNEW somebody was gonna bring this up.Quote from EPrado:
I guessss you dont think that crying about being left out of The Trader Monthly Party isnt embarassing. Then whining more because a girl you invited to the party bought a new dress . Then he whines "What is she gonna do ?"
Newsflash Sykes...stores have this brand new concept called "returning merchandise".
Thats whole espiode alone was Hysterical/embarassing.
Then seeing him beg/whine to the editor of TM to let him go, only to be told off.
Finally , having the whole ordeal printed in the most read column of The NY Post.
Come on.....if I was him I would have gotten in a spaceship and moved to the moon.
Even up there he could probably hear everyone laughing at him.

Umm, actually, since i've lived my entire life in nyc, i'm talking from experience timmay.Quote from MandelbrotSet:
