I am not disputing that fact.

however, his students ranking in the contest seems to suggest his material is not snake oil and actually works.

i have never seen his trading educational material so i have no basis as to comment.

the guy gets a bad rap here, and i don't believe he deserves it, hence my posts.

That's not necessarily true. The rankings suggest that:
1) their methods are presently being rewarded by the markets
2) as a group, they are taking similar trades

Hero worship aside, the contest results offer no provable significance beyond these two points.
