You made the point better than me. He is selling a product that is basically a gambling system. And the odds are stacked against you because of the nature of penny stocks - low volume, big swings.

I would venture a guess that the vast majority of his subscribers lose money...and many big.

And for Marketsurfer to be shilling it here on ET is just irresponsible.

One could retire fading Surf....shorting Crox where Surf covered....shorting the stock mkt when Surf said the bottom was in (9000 Dow), then covering and going long when Surf puked (7777 in Dow).


Surf is a tremendous fade.

Sykes apparently has very good returns his account in one year. big returns are great...but....his account started out with like 12k. So to work a whole year to take 12k to 20 -30k ? I'll pass and trade to make real money. One will never make real money trading his strategy....the stocks he trades are illiquid/not easy to get short. So he has to try and sell his ideas to others to try and make some real money. He tried running a hedge fun and trading some real size and imploded.

His strategy only works trading tiny size in illiquid stocks. You think he went out and started trading a tiny account by choice? His strategy does not work trading any real size...thats why he has to trade so small.


From a percentage measure, his returns are great.....but his strategy is only good for those looking to make peanuts.

LMAO bro I know the feeling. The old adage "never argue with an idiot..." comes to mind, but for some reason I just can't seem to resist either.

I quit posting for 2 or 3 months and it was Smurf and PureTick that got me on a roll. It all started when Smurf was crying about his journal being closed and I had to chime in...

Oh well my friend, at least it's entertaining. ha ha
