Timmay Gets Bitch Slapped

Quote from sammybea:

The irony is that you have a book deal.

I rejected the book deal and started my own publishing company, BullShip Press (because I aim to cut through all the BS on Wall Street)--I like doing everything my own way, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But I love the indpendence of it all and the fact that I'm constantly learning.

I am wandering, why is it all positive reviews on your book are done by members who just signed up withing the last month? except marketsurfer.

Actually the company is already basically worthless---it's at 5 cents and I already am despised. I'm doing the only thing I can do, explaining how I got into this mess to help others avoid it. But as bad as it is, I'm still in the game and much wiser / conservative which will serve me well for the rest of my life.

But how can you be in the game for long. I think soon you would be in Jail as your investors who lost their money get their Lawyers out..

Probably a good read. I'll wait to get my copy once I see it in the bargain bin outside the local Borders or Barnes & Noble. Sorry won't pay more than $3.95 for it. :p

I am no fan of Tim, but the fact remains that he turned 12k into 1.65mm with little to no leverage. Redduke, you trade prop, right? Have you produced like-returns?

Any/all of you should STFU unless you're ready to produce an audit showing a gain of 140x you stake. I guarantee that nobody on this site can show the same, leveraged or not.
Now wait a minute, he started with $12K, so big 140X gains are a distortion. Alot of people start with more and have produced better, more consistent returns.

Have you thought about the fact that Timmat may be net even on the totality of his trading? He lost
-36% on $2.65M or roughly. But when he made money, it was starting from a tiny amount.

So to me, he may have made $1.5M , but then lost about a million. if that's good performance over 10 years then you can have it!

You'll never get a straight answer on this, but it's extremely fishy. Almost all of the positive reviews are from individuals who are posting their FIRST AND ONLY review.

OK, 137x on his pre-OPM stake. I think it's significant for a pre-teen to put-up those numbers. He didn't give anything back until he went OPM. His numbers are vetted, and adjusted for additions and redemptions. I have no reason to doubt his numbers posted to Barclay. Another matter, but it's pretty sleazy if he's having legitimate Amazon reviews removed from the site.

This is the first trading book I read, and I like it. Thank you Tim. Because of watching you on TV, you inspired me to take on BS on Wallstreet.

I don't disagree with the Barclays numbers, but saying he made 140X his money is dampened when finding out he started with 12K.

I agree with you about amazon, I have a major problem with him censoring the bad reviews. Yesterday, the people whose reviews were deleted posted them again using the verbiage "please do not delete my review!" And this sentence, which was used maybe 4 times, was taken down in ALL instances!! and replaced with [..] That's censorship and that's slimy.

Also, look at the bogus reviews coming fast and furious the last day. All 5 stars, all the "reviewers" are making their FIRST AND ONLY review as well. And all of these reviews are 1 or 2 sentences with NO SPECIFIC INFORMATION about the book.

Tim has said he is honest, but this amazon thing shows that he's quite dishonest, and very desperate.

Game over whether he likes it or not.
