Is it possible to email the output of your program.

If you want I can maintain the email address of others who are interested- you just need to email me.

ChicagoBuy,

I think there is a reason that ET would not want to send out email alert, a free forum like ET would count on the number of visitors, sending email alert would defeat that purpose unless there is a fee associated with the alert, ... if I start to sending out email, I will put you on the list.

Close @37.45

Regardless what system says, I would not bet tomorrow, if real time signal counts I would close much earlier today.

The market condition is beyond back tested range (1999-Present), so whatever signal it produces is not reliable. My feeling is more like Oct 1987 before the market crashes another 20%.

The signal was a BUY, but I don't want to bet

codedeep007,

Do you think in this system you can incorporate a stop loss of say 3-4% just for the rare days like Monday?

Thanks,
Chicagobuy

You can definitely put a stop loss 3-4% and still have a positive expectation (50% annual gain vs. 60%)

There are a few days since 1999 that QQQQ up and down around 10%, there are many more days it has trading range more than 5%, the stop means that you are out of the market for the remaining of the day so in general it would reduce the expectation a little bit. But when you trade a blackbox system, have stop loss would definitely make you feel comfortable.
