TIMES method

Quote from edaharony:

After analyzing the data it produced, (a few signal) some good,
1 that I took was actually not recommended but it worked out good for me, it was on the YM long @ 11:45 eastern time the rest was very choppy I don't understand the trade @ 14:40 central time though maybe someone can clarified
The only question is; if you learn to recognize the choppy signals and stay away from them or its all posted as a monday morning QB

Choppy signals on the 1 min chart can be taken only if confirmed by the 3min chart.

Quote from manz66:

Times method is a monday morning QB. Any systems can be successful for few times a day, but rest of the time mkt is choppy, but you do not know that until you are in the trade, so you lose.

How do you know if the TIMES is a Monday Morning QB? Have you taken the training?

If you have then you know that during the real time mentoring sessions the signals are taken in real time with an average of 150 or more students present. That is not MM QB'ing!!

I really wouldn't call it Monday morning QB'ing, but I wouldn't call it reall trading either. If the trades aren't taken with real money by the mentor, what good is it just to call out multiple setups?

I much rather have the highest probability setup of the day where I can leverage many contracts and be done for the day...

Again, I don't call them a fraud, but I don't call them traders either....

"Those who can't trade, teach!"

Actually, they are much smarter than all of us.

They don't trade so the never lose money. At $5,000 a student x 150 you said are in the room, that would be $750,000.

I think we should all get together and form an education service where we have a method that works in theory. Comment setups in real-time (of course don't put money on the line), and market the charts at the end of the day like a market recap.

3-4 new traders a month and we are rich after 2 years...! :)

I am a sucker for trading...

Thanks for the update. I see multiple setups. Can you go over again how many of these you put real money on the line with?

Also, how many the mentor also put real money on the line with?

Thanks!@!

Q,

I can't say whether or not the TI staff trades. I do know that the main instructor says that he does trade for his own account at times when he is not conducting a class. I honestly have not looked into it further. I do believe I will make money with this method and I enjoy using it. As I said previously, time will tell and I'll keep ya updated.

Best regards,

Mark B.

We do know trading is an ongoing learning experience. I hope all goes well. Good luck!

Quote from mwbokc:

the "3" means that it was a signal taken from the 3 min chart, not confirmed by it.

An "*" next to the signal represents a 1min chart signal that was confirmed by the 3 min.

Thanks Mark!
