Time Warner today?

OK, I'm new, and I'll try not to ask too many stupid questions, but am I on the right track by thinking Time Warner is a good buy today? I read some news stories, but nothing that seemed all that bad.

TWX, if it closes above 17.37 is forming a nice hammer, on the daily.

Now that the Icahn nonsense is over, TWX is back on its regular path, which is the road to nowhere.

If you insist on taking a position in this stock, buy half your position at 17, which it should hit in the next couple of weeks, and buy the rest at 16.5.

Thanks. I guess since I'm a beginner I want something a little safe, and make a little bit to get my confidence up. Of course I want to be able to do a few trades a week, so I don't want to wait a month for it to move.
