Time Magazine Connection with Economy

Hi Everyone,

I remember 2 things that Time Magazine unexpectedly signalled the downturns in the economy.

The first one was back in 2001 or so, and it was a magazine cover - DotCom Money or something and I am sure some of the readers may have remembered it. Basically the whole story, was if you started a website, you could have become a millionaire.

The other one was back in 2005, where it had a picture of a family on the cover, and the title was How the real estate party wont' end..

Has anyone else noticed about Time Magazine - and downturns in the economy or is it just me?

It's more "accurate" when several mainstream magazines do the same thing at about the same time to reflect a stronger consensus.
