If I read you correctly, rather than use the equation "time-in-trade/movement-over-the-period" as a/the determinant on whether to close the trade you view it as telling you whether to abort or scratch the trade.
I assume for those that are not aborted based on the time/performance equation you would simply manage them in the normal fashion rather than have "time in" as a factor?
