Tim Skyes - NOT another bashing thread

That is interesting. So perhaps he should make available his "connection" to the market makers and brokerage firms to his students so everyone can benefit from his courses?[/QUOTe

"so everyone can benefit from his courses?"
Humorous.

these kind of stocks are extremely volatile and difficult to borrow. they are also subject to considerable price manipulation . they can be called back from a retail customer at any time who will have to buy back likely at an inopportune time. bottom line it is a headache with little profit for the brokerage firm to deal in penny stocks for small time short sellers.

imagine a short squeeze where stock goes up 3x to 10X + in a day and then trying to collect from a clueless retail customer for monies owed the firm.

So how does he himself make money then? He claims he trades exactly as how and what he teaches so if you can't locate shares at your broker he shouldn't be either.

Borrowing isn't binary. There can be something like 2000 shares available to borrow. He takes it all, makes a profit, subscribers get nothing - that's well documented online.

OMG!! So he's screwing his own students? LOL They paid to learn to make money and they ended up making nothing then I guess. Glad I never jumped on his bandwagon.

not looking for stock tips, but whether in the penny stock world those methods may, with some refinement and experience, work.
Work for what? Entertainment, bragging, some extra cash? What you should be asking yourself is - if I dedicate years to get good at this, will it make enough of a difference in my life? IMHO, if it can't be reasonably scaled, it's not worth pursuing. At some point, when you are very good, you want to be able to press your trade to catch that fat tail that makes a difference.

Not a scam, he is selling information. All information can be found for free but the point is it's packaged nicely to short cut your learning. if you wanna learn fast don't be afraid to invest in learning.
