Tillerson to kick out deep rooted immigrants & refugees

“It is fair to say that this administration is interpreting the law, exactly as it is, which the previous one did not,” an administration official said.

You have a problem with that?

From the OP's article link:

"Although most arrived here illegally, they were exempted from deportation after Hurricane Mitch devastated Central America in 1998. Their TPS protections have been renewed routinely since then, in some cases following additional natural disasters and resulting insecurity."

The name of the program is TPS which stands for Temporary Protected Status (TPS).

Every time the issue of deportations comes up someone always says "well, who will do those jobs once they leave?". With the Age 20 & Over Male African American Unemployment Rate TWICE that of Age 20 & Over White Males I would say the absence of these non-Americans creates greater possible job opportunities for African Americans.

There is a story of an African American who could not get a job at Popeyes in Compton because the all illegal immigrant staff would not hire him.

If an African American can land a job then they are given less hours and less opportunities by their illegal immigrant co-workers as this New York Times Article points out:

I have a problem with spinning, yes.

60k of the 300k arrived here illegally, don't let facts get in the way of a juicy story. So these 300k tax payers, 60k who were granted relief in '98 will stop contributing to the coffers because the private prison system is buddies with the Breitbart types and lobbied for tax payers to house them and feed them for 30 days before shipping them out. Fantastic!

"DHS has until Monday to announce its plans for roughly 57,000 Hondurans and 2,500 Nicaraguans whose TPS protections will expire in early January. Although most arrived here illegally, they were exempted from deportation after Hurricane Mitch devastated Central America in 1998. Their TPS protections have been renewed routinely since then, in some cases following additional natural disasters and resulting insecurity."

Heaven forbid we give foreign nationals a free meal and a roof over their head before they depart the USA. If I ever overstay a visa in a foreign land (which I have come within 2 days of doing in the past myself) I would hope that if I am detained that I would be given access to a meal and shelter if I am being detained.

I don't doubt that a private for profit prison wants to make money and I don't doubt that some folks at Breitbart have friends and connections in that industry. I think there should be massive reforms in the prisons.

Maybe the entire group should not be deported but certainly anyone who arrived here illegally should be when their temporary protections expire.

When you travel internationally you learn to immediately respect the laws of where ever you land. Not set-up shop and start having kids like there is no tomorrow. I don't try to make where ever I go "more American". You can see that many foreigners arriving in Germany, Sweden, England and parts of the USA do not quite share my same outlook.

Please explain the spinning that you have a problem with.

So 60K are illegal and 240K are legal. ALL are here temporarily. Time is up. Period. Good luck to you all.
