Tight Stops

While your concept of tight stops is <i>extremely good</i>,

I have doubts on whether it can be used in FUTUREs ---consistently---.

I use tight stops all the time in STOCKS, and it works perfectly ( It could not be done in futures CONSISTENTLY)

No I only post to confirm the method to students.

I post in real time to my group the potential set ups I am angling for if I am working the market.

Ask any of them they will tell you I have been doing it for many years. Not as often lately as I only work about 2 and a half days a week.

Nevertheless I have members who post in my absence, the guys I have taught over the years.

You are right as sometimes the futures over runs regular support and resistance levels with false breaks. NEVERTHLESS if you trade ES you need to watch the OEX for support and resistance and you need to also moonitor MID 400 to know if they are responsible on the day.

Over the past 2 years MID has been in a strong bull run and has flagged some of the old approaches on days when the OEX has been dead.

The averagge system trader in ES does not know this and gets caught out.

That is why the CTA's are struggling in this market environment.

Point is........

If you want to be serious about trading you need to watch a variety of things if you are trading ES.

YOU NEED A MINIMUM OF 4 SCREENS FOR THE REQUIRED INFORMATION.

Those guys running single screens have no hope.

It only costs you $10k to set yourself up properly in this business today but without the tools you might as well go down the casino and try your luck.

Funny thing...

When you go back and look at the posts and the other stuff brought up from the past how could anyone in their right mind think I am coming in here to sell anyone anything.

What sort of sales speil would you imaginine I am making?

Only a dope would think that I am soliciting business.

I couldn't care less, what I care about is the way idiots take control over these rooms.

I make heaps of money and all I am sure of is that the public have an opportunity to know the way they can do it to.

Now I am heading for the big 60 and I am earning heaps on top of the heaps I already have what is the problem with showing others how they can do it.

Only an imbecile would argue abainst that.

Another funny thing................

With 40 minutes to the ES day session opening I don't see anyone in here trying to help the members with their trading decisions for the day.

Could it be that all the so called experts here who want to trash me have no idea which way to go?

I guess that is it or they are all going out to there day job all of a sudden and they will return after and then try and work out what happened.

The ES overnight pattern is fairly clear.

It either goes up or down :-))) from sideways.

So has anyone got an idea what has to happen for you to buy or sell the futures?

I do but that is not for discussion here.
