Can somebody please explain the reasoning here?

Barack Obama has previously said he will have direct talks with Iran.

But today he says:

"I have a fundamental difference with President Carter and disagree with his decision to meet with Hamas. We must not negotiate with a terrorist group intent on Israel's destruction. We should only sit down with Hamas if they renounce terrorism, recognize Israel's right to exist and abide by past agreements."

Hmmm... this is interesting. Obama by implication claims Iran is "pursuing nuclear weapons". Haven't Democrats insisted that Iran isn't pursuing nuclear weapons?

Everybody's will. As I have illustrated in this thread Obama is nowhere near qualified to be president. The list of his poor decisions, the scumbags he has surrounded himself with throughout his life, his Marxist leanings, his ease with lying, his cowardice to stand up for the downtroden and up to evil, his naive belief that terrorists can be negotiated with, his racism, his poor choice in a "bitter" wife, his weasel talk, his inability to think on his feet, his many hypocrisies, his condescension for those he sees beneath him, his corruption, and his hate for the country have all been documented here. No doubt there will be much, much more.

Barck Obama is more scary than Jimmy Carter was as a president. And amazingly enough he makes Bubba look like a saint - who'd a thought that Democrats could top good ole Bill for deceitfulness and just plain dirtiness of a life?
