If you want to search a thread, there is no simple way to do this yet; however there is a work around.
Solution: 1
1) Press the "print" thread button. (Located at the top right corner).
2) Use your browsers find tool, to search through the thread.
Solution: 2
Some threads are very long, and the print thread option is not available.
1) Go to google
2) In their search bar type this in "site:" then the thread URL that coresponds to the thread you would like to search
3) Next to that type in what you are looking for.
Here is an example:
site:elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?threadid=220351 "Gene Simmons"
