N nitrene Jun 9, 2011 #42 econometrics -- I couldn't download the file but VLC pretty much plays everything under the sun: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ And its on every OS. It does have trouble playing some Blu Ray media, but otherwise it plays everything else.

N nitrene Jun 15, 2011 #44 That does surprise me since VLC plays pretty much every public codec. Maybe it is a brand new codec or it is a proprietary codec? What is the suffix of the file when you uncompress it?
