Thought for the day............

On a happier note, the The old- faithfull shoes have in fact hit the dump, gone.

It was a remarkable effort of will, but there gone-into the oblivion of landfill, methane gas and god knows what awfull crap they may be forced to co-exist with.

And good riddance, they stank up a storm...... but i got better.

From Ebay, beleive it or not.
Yep, perfect fit, fantastic, very comfy.
Wouldnt have beleived it myself, but there you go.

So, thought for the day-

You dont know what you got, till you have it.:D

So true, you should see my posts in the "Pit-bull" thead, whichever one that might have been.
Trust me, an unexpected encounter with a fido bomb , in flip flops, is ............not nice.

My dear old dad, just yesterday, was knocked clean off his bike by a DOG.
"Its just a pup" the owners exclaimed.

Strangely, it was a fucking menace, off the leash, illegally, despite being a "pup", and could just as likely have caused very significant injury, in the circumstances.

FUCK OFF, thats BULLSHIT, "Its just a pup"???
What the hell is that????? An admission the owners have ZERO control over a mutt, and shouldnt own one??YES!!!!!!

There are millions of mutts out there on the loose. My generation (25 years old and younger) is a bunch of screw ups. We are taking dumps everywhere and our parents keep having to clean it up. 45 trillion dollars is about to exchange hands from generation-to-generation and if we don't stop our careless and useless spending we are going to be in serious SERIOUS trouble. I think it is inevitable that trouble is already here.. The damage is done, the consequences are just beginning....

I have a friend who has made $150,000 per year for the past 5 years and all he has to show for it is a LEASED 6 series BMW, some fancy electronics, 3 barbielike ex g/fs who were dead fucks who put more effort into tanning and manicures than they did in him, and $2500 in the bank.....

The question I propose is... if some one who is making 6 figures has those kinds of assets how is the rest of America doing??

Someone comes down my street on a bike I immediately sick my
dogs on them. Nothing like having old men clogging up the streets
riding bikes trying to lose their baby fat. Old buggers...

The reason that guy said it was only a pup because if it was a grown
dog it probably would of ate your dad for lunch.

By the way, how could your dad get knocked clean off his bike by
a pup anyway? Doesn't he have any balance? If not, he shouldn't
be riding in the first place. Get him a wheelchair...:p

Heck, my old man has killed more dogs than i have. Cantankerous old bastard.

But i agree about shuffling , doddering old folk-the silly fool had just returned from an extreme mountain bike venture, (on a hybrid) falling off 3 times, in near vertical terrain-only to take evasive action from a dog, and fall off again on a perfectly nice, flat path.

He had to push the bike up the hill, sliding feet and all-what the hell made him think it wouldnt get a little quick on the descent? I tried to explain "mountain biking" doesnt actually mean attempting to ride up, then down the nearest mountain, regardless of slope or dropoffs, or the absence of any trail.

Thought for the day;

Old folk; they'd be ok if they didnt lose their marbles, and clog up supermarket aisles and sidewalks.

Now, doesn't that solve all your problems?

No, i beleive in reincarnation.:D

Thought for the day;

Wherever you are, that's where your at.

Not where you might like to be, or where you might want to be, in the future.

Just what you have, now.

Not everyone, can afford body armour.

"Do you milk hamsters with your fingers, or just put your lips around their teets and massage the milk directly into your mouth?"

That's a pretty disgusting thought but I suppose if your not going to use your fingers I suggest a bath for the hamster first. Would want you to get any sicker.
:D

Actually, id recommend a bath for everyone after reading that. Including the hampster.
I feel sullied and unclean.

Which leads me to the thought for the day....

Talc, shoe powder, powdery stuff.. Its supposed to absorb moisture, keep you feeling fresh or whatever the hell they claim.

But it doesnt actually clean anything, its not anti bacterial, it just sits there, in your shoes/shirt/nether regions etc, (or even carpet etc) collecting funk, and getting worse by the minute.

Is that really a good idea?
