Thought Control In Chicago Schools?

You omitted "suburban" from the title of your thread. Naperville is 45 miles from Chicago.

If Ayers hadn't been a former Weatherman then he wouldn't be asked to speak. Hence he profits from the infamy of being a criminal and self admitted terrorist. So whose "thoughts" are being controlled?

Quote from OPTIONAL777:

Talk to the Associated Press, they wrote the story:

Former 1960s radical William Ayers is scheduled to speak at a suburban Chicago high school next month.

I didn't omit anything.

Requiring a note from a parent is thought control for high school age kids...

That's the first step to recovery...

If you would take your own advice and admit that making those remarks about Hap's kids was inexcusable, then this statement might have some weight to it.

As it is, it's just your own special brand of trolling.

Mind your own business...as you know not of which you speak.

You can invite any speaker you want to talk at HS, if kids are allowed to use their cell phone and talk and text at an assembly, they are not going to listen to anyone. The school is probably trying to get a head count on parents who shares views with the speaker, hence the permission slip.

Riverside is not a suburb of LA...

Naperville (pronounced /ˈneɪpɚvɪl/) is a city in the Chicago metropolitan area of Illinois in the United States.

Actually your link is setting a new level of stupidity. Riverside IS NOT 358 miles from LAX. Hell Vegas isn't even that far......
