B1S2, what thorn is implying from this thread is he does not have the balls to sell the calls.

It actually dawned on me today that the market really CAN be manipulated for short times. Despite what alot of other people see as rocky underpinnings the jam job in full force.
Quote from austinp:
Market bias and expectation may be alluring to all and valuable to some, but for pure intraday traders it is an albatross. Hopefully, everyone recognizes that pure distinction.

I'm not completely certain I understand your point. In my own case, I do not ridicule those who make market calls. My skillet is exclusively reserved for frying assholes. (As you might imagine, I keep a window open at all times.) However, at the same time, I would never blindly follow the market call of another without a full understanding of the underlying premise. Would you? So, while a call may be either good or bad, right or wrong, I don't think most traders will find it as something to be thankful for.Quote from Rearden Metal:
It's very interesting to now look back on the above mentioned thread.
Thorn called top on May 11, 2006!

Thorn shared this brilliantly accurate call with the ET community, while asking nothing in return. Yet, look at all the scornful reactions posted by members of the envious loser brigade. They were given the perfect market call- and yet they responded with a barrage of harassment and personal insults. Go figure...

I'm (currently anyway) the only one to vote "I don't know". Seriously, anyone who has a crystal ball that works three months into the future should be filthy rich and incredibly famous by now.
My crystal ball only works one day into the future, and it's only 80% accurate. (Though the winning trades and losing trades average about the same!) It takes longer than one day to drum up the attention of the mass media. So I'm afraid fame will have to wait.
