Because big players like professionals and istitutionals study the market for a very long time and when they decive what to do they have really to much money to buy or sell their positions in few days, so they have to sell for long time, weeks or months..

check the duration of cycles of white and yellow players in the past you can see in the chart

i refreshed my Italian to understand the time-frame and I see private rapidly flip-flops, professionals change views every 2-3 months and institutions make decisions that last 3-6 months. Last question: are institutions, professionals, and private still buying ETH and BTC simply at a different ratio, or is this a short-BTC-and-short-even-more-ETH trade?

I did but could not find a list of cryptos other than the signals displayed. I attempted to put in a variety of lower marketcap cryptos but none of them showed up. ie FTM, AVAX, ONE, etc

they are buying more BTC than ETH so the ratio ETH / BTC is going down
