you should only be sorry for being so dumb. You understand the point of a JUSTICE system is to right wrongs so that those who crimes were committed against don't do it themselves. what kind of justice is keeping someone who took another persons life, in cold blood, alive? It's not even defensible. If that was my wife/gf/daughter/mother etc, i would want the guy DEAD. And in this case I'm glad he suffered. If she was someone close to you, what would you want his punishment to be?

Prison isn't for rehab, it's punishment for committing crimes against others. You can't make up the debt to society when you kill an innocent woman, you can't bring her back, so you deserve the same fate. That's 'fair'.

One small qualification, but prison can be for rehab. The three 'R's' we called them: retribution, restitution, rehabilitation.

If i recall, the killer who shot up the fire dept in NYC a year or so ago, had been released from prison after, get this, beating his own grandmother to death with a hammer. While anti gun loons whined about the 'assault' weapon used, non-retarded people wondered: WTF would you let this animal out of prison!? ohhhh he was a minor when he bludgeoned his own grandma to death, that makes it what.. ok? in my world, that little cunts' sentence would have been - gunshot to the grape.
