Well, he could be pretty good and pick the right times/strikes/expirations to sell. He also could have just been lucky since it was a very bullish period for Apple.The fellow who introduced me to options only write calls or puts on only 1 stock: AAPL.
He has been doing that since 2010 and I think he outperformed buy & hold and haven't had a bullet to his head after 15 yrs.
