This Oddball Rolls-Royce Could Be The Most Expensive New Car Ever

This car was custom-built SINCE 2013.
The buyer is not a fool : he is also actually into super-luxury private yachts
and private planes. Makes sense : he is a connaissor. Good on him.

I posted this thread in the Luxury and Lifestyle forum only because there is no Fool And His Money forum.

If you're worth 15 million USD sure blowing 13 on a car looks foolish, but then if you are worth 2 or 3 extra Zeros why not.
I'd actually venture that most folks who amassed much money, say over 1 billion usd, are far from fools, whereas it remains to be seen about the masses who point fingers at them.
But on a side note, I used to be involved in some luxury goods trading, and difficult to execute bespoke orders signed by big names came out at ridiculously high prices if one considered the materials involved. Yet besides big recognized brands who attracted both the wealthiest customers and mass of suppliers, i'm not sure anyone could finalize those orders - to begin with suppliers usually wouldn't work half as conscienciously if orders didn't come from big houses.
Than the houses , which usually had payed their suppliers quite well, charged a nasty mark up on the finished product, huge loss if one was trying to resell the products immediately, worse than for cars, but than again one's perspective depends a lot on their ressources and feeling towards one of a kind items.

at 12mill it would not be the most expensive car ever sold.

1. 1936 Bugatti Type 57C Atlantic – $43.7 million (2010)

Clearly not - but nobody suggested that: the wording is "most expensive NEW car".
I like the Rolls commercial where they both stop + one says ''pardon me ,do you have any Grey Poupon Dijon......'' Some are affordable.LOL[Produced by Lowe Advertising]
