Thanks got out of both, have a nice weekend!
I must admit at one point I thought this too, but then I started believing. Believe in the market.
Too bad I listened to much to doom-and-gloomers at S&P 700. Next time I will buy dips at 600-700 very very hard.
Making a new 52wk high on below average volume is not what I would like to see, however give the election I must overlook this and remain with the trend.
I have been scaling out of various positions and will try to be flat come May.
If 2006 is any guide and I think it is, May-June will be a good entry on any correction.
The higher it goes on falling volume the faster the correction will be. I won't be suprised if we get a 400 point down week in the Dow come May.
When 4th quarter earnings came in in Jan 2010 most every company beat there low ball est. The market started selling off on this good news.
Lets see how it reacts next week

I suspect exp's are now so high above consensus and excitement levels so great that it will take massive massive qtrs to move tons of stks already up 500-1000% in 12 months. for instance apple has beat ests by an avg of 30-40% each qtr for a yr so i think the ests are $2.50 so to exite the street they need $3.20 or greater and as the co gets ever bigger it gets harder to smash ests.
Alot of bears have been successful at making money, even with the rally. It's really more about money management and trade execution.

2 point stop with 60 point target? what a moron!
using daytrader stops and swingtrader targets will get u killed
you know whats better a 1 tick stop with 1000 point target. this way you can make 4000 trades and still be succesfull daytrader.

More free money this week starting bright an early at the first sign of the opening bell. Dow will cross 11k tomorrow and continue straight up all week. Earnings should also give the markets an easy boost, no need to worry, even if earning come in on the lower end they will still push it higher, as for Greece pay absolutely no attention to what's going on, you will be wasting your time as everyone knows it's perfectly under control. Just keep buying the 3 and 8 point dips and get ready for Dow 12k by June. Free money for everyone.
