I never said any are better. The longest economic expansion was under a democrat. The worst downturn was under a republican. Those are the facts. There are underlying reasons behind the correlation but I won't go into them.

I agree and I know exactly what they are.....(control of the House and Senate is also interesting during these periods.... ;-) )
When wars took place, what industrial/economic advancement shifts occurred, etc., have a lot more basis for the economic results than who rented the white house at the time.

Today the gap got closed to the upside, now we need to fill the 2 gaps under us before we go higher.

policy means nothing....laws passed by congress and then signed by the President do.
