This is why we riot

There would have been no American Revolution if you wussies were alive then. What I will say is that we are in a dangerous time and you should keep eyes and ears open.

This stuff is messy and the unrest allows bad elements to take advantage but it is misguided to think civil disobedience by itself brought about all change.

People think the 1960s were all peaceful protests, uh no. There were Riots in Watts, Newark, Philadelphia, on and on and on. They used play “dancing in the streets” because that song was a metaphor for protesting.

The last thing I will say is that while the destruction is mindless, these mostly young people are in the streets for a reason. They aren’t stupid and know they are subjected to a different justice, healthcare and economic system than the majority of Americans.

Also, all I see from right wingers is complaints about the rioting and no talk about possible solutions to address the very real issues minorities face in America.

We are witnessing a complete failure of government at every level, local, state and federal. Anyone who thought the government would be there to protect you is getting a good lesson. They can't and won't even defend themselves, they will not be there for you. Zero leadership, Trump included. Tipping point has been hit, this isn't going away, you are no longer safe.
