The problem with the chloroquine is that they do not know how it interacts with people who have the virus stat, plus if they have the virus and hypertention, it's contraindications when complicated by the virus, etc etc etc.

There are a myriad of issues that come along with implementing a drug for secondary consideration. <----(I know that's not the right term, I cannot think of it at the moment).

The usual FDA process would involve months and months of trials to determine if a drug has a secondary indication <---(I think that's it). If the anti-malarial drug combined with the virus in the bloodstream and certain other maladies a person has an adverse effect, maybe it would have been better to not administer it in the first place.

What Fauci's been saying all along, you follow the scientific method, you do a double blind randomized study w/a large enough sample size & a control, then you have peers repeat the test for verification. That's at a minimum. A proper test would track any ill effects of the dosage & use for a different then prescribed purpose.
