This is why I love recessions

Are you sure. Dollars may strengthen from here. Rate cuts are pie in the sky.

'Irrational Exuberance' gained fame as a phrase before the crash of 2000, my friend, coined by none other than Alan Greenspan.

actually schiller coined the phrase 'irrational exuberance'

An idiot could've quadrupled their money had they went all in then, and anyone with half a brain would be up ten times.

I'm guessing that you are a normal dude with a normal brain.

So let me guess. You must be up more than 20 times by now...yes?

Ah, you are absolutely correct, sir.

Greenspan 'borrowed' it in his testimony before Congress.

Thank you.

I may have been exaggerating to make a point. You know, artistic license...

But think of it this way - Apple Computer went from $8 to nearly $100 (a month ago), and Phelps-Dodge went from under $10 to $130+ish.

Look at how many other ten baggers there were. They were all over the place.

My point remains: 2002-2003 was an absolutely fantastic time to go all in, because the market had tanked so badly. This is almost a historical rule of fact.

I don't know if I'm a 'normal dude' with a 'normal brain.'

I did once win a creative writing award in the 5th grade.

Corporate profits will slow into the single digits, its expected after how many straight quarters of double digit growth...........
