The funnier thing about it is most of these muppets not only butcher the interpretation of charts with no explainable pattern, they also butcher the ones where there is an obvious causation.

For example the other day i saw the people on MSNBC complaining that crime has dropped drastically and yet we have a record number of people incarcerated. They thought that this was ridiculous.

Im not in favour of the police state, but i understand it has certain benefits. They couldnt put 2+2 together that a record number of people in prison would lead too a lower crime rate.
