This is one of those days I hate...

Quote from RoughTrader:

What the hell are you guys talking about? the market has gone up with a straight slope practically. You should be KILLING it, we don't get too many of these days. Scalps, intraday holds, whatever, money should be coming in.

This week Monday was a day that is more difficult to trade, with SP's contained in a tight range. Today was a gift.

Enjoy these gift days while they last, ladies. There may not be many left for a while.

Quote from MKTrader:

I wouldn't be surprised by a "good" NFP number. Good being anything above the pathetic expectation 65,000. Yeah, what a sound economy. Let's party like it's 1999.

Really? Let's hope you're right. I'm expecting a positively dismal number.

nice trending day.

you just sit and hold, just as Jesis livemore said " sit for the money rolling in". bought LFG at 48 and DRYS at 67, wake up, the market is surging, buy ...

today was 400 point swing. what not to like. The markert is getting use to it, and I for one like it. Just my opinion.

wake

check out the premarket 6:30 - 8:30...ES had a range of 4 points for 2 hrs! it was probably one of the ugliest charts i have ever seen. i made one trade and went back to sleep:D

but today's chart looks beautiful, like the ones we see in technical analysis books.

Quote from Ivanovich:

...when it seems that every trade I make is faded by the market the moment I make it. Ever have those days? You know, when it seems like the market is waiting for you to foolishly place a trade so it can instantly fade you the moment you hit "submit"?

I think the best thing that can be done on such days are to walk away from the table and go out and play. Do something fun. Let the market lose interest in you and then go concentrate on some other poor scumbag. :)

Today I was having exactly the same kind of day. Normally I would quit, but for some reason today I didn't. I'm sure glad I didn't because I turned a losing day into a winning day. I just love it when that happens.
