I still like Christie although everyone else hates him, he was the first one to stick up to the public sector unions in his state, and one of the only guys i could see trying to take them on and trim the government, public pensions are going to be one of our biggest ticking time bombs over the next decade as our population ages, and we start paying three people to do the same job.

Yeah thats the thing about Fiorina, if there is anyone who is more full of shit than a politician its corporate CEO's, so all the slick talk doesnt do it for me, ive seen a lot of slick CEO's over the years who managed to hold onto their job while doing a shit job, and she just seems like another one of those in my eyes.

Except he's not doing a very good fiscal job in NJ.

I just don't see how someone blames HP on Fiorina. However, I am really not that informed regarding her tenure at HP. As a trader, I immediately checked to see what years she was the CEO of HP. She was the CEO of HP from 1999-2005. As every trader knows, she became the CEO just prior to the tech crash. I don't care who was the CEO during that time, the stock would have gotten hammered. Maybe I am missing something. My opinion is based on info above. As I said, I am pretty ignorant on the subject so please let me know if I am missing something. Check out the chart below.

Fiorina definitely has "stage presence". Even though I felt that some of her soundbites sounded a bit staged and overly theatrical, she is sharp and tough. I'm in agreement that holding her accountable for the HP debacle isn't completely fair. That said, I don't know what role she had in systematically dismantling the greatness of HP, the company, during her tenure.
