It should be obvious that few start with Donald's incredibly lucky birth. Also, few got to ride NY real estate up during the good years, as he did.

His massive headstart is no doubt why he's such an obviously insecure man--he knows deep down he's not where he is because of his virtue.

I notice when Liberals are forced on an issue, they back away from their claim or dodge the question.

You stated you would have performed equally well or better then Donald Trump. So I asked you what your investment return has been since inception. Trump doubled his original stake 250 times. How about you? You just make baseless claims like 'anybody could have done it'. 'he started with a lot' etc. So, how much did you return? If anybody can do it, have you returned 25,000%?

I explained the conditions in my first reply. I neither inherited daddy's millions, daddy's skills, daddy's rolodex, or daddy's early toehold in NY real estate.

At any rate, after all those years in business Trump has learned but one management style. The only way a man can "accomplish" that is if he has been at the top of his own business the entire time. His skills will be useless when he's up against men who do not need to suck his balls for his business (like vendors), men who already have power and privilege and armies. Trump's yell until you get compliance or fire 'em style would be a disaster on the world stage. I'd call it clownish in the spirit of this thread, but it's much more dangerous.

You raise an interesting question. How much farther can a man, any man, get in life if he has no compunctions about screwing over the people who are holding his ladder? Could we ever quantify that kind of thing in terms of, say, rate of return?

Trump is the only candidate with a credible immigration policy. That is why he is leading, not because of his wealth or personality. Ordinary voters in flyover country seem to identify with Trump in a way they never could with Romney.

ps. Trump's policy paper on guns and gun control is also unmatched by any other candidate. Cruz and Paul probably are good there as well. We know the rest of them would sell us out in a nanosecond when the heat is on.

In short the establishment can't take trump down because every argument they create... makes Trump look better. Oh you don't like Trump? good. You hate trump... better.
You got your leftist and establishment panties in a bunch....that is the point.

The american people want a divorce from the establishment - tax payers tried with republican candidates and fake conservative candidates for years... but now like some divorcing spouses... they are not going to sit there and worry about rational arguments. Trump is the the divorce attorney... and he has the right to drain the marital assets like fox news or anything else the establishment loves to control as long as he keeps filing the divorce paperwork.
