This is courage

Read the opening post.

That's not what I implied...

I'm stating the Widow does not know anything about this thread nor does she know you or anyone else in this thread.

Lets explain this differently considering you've made off-topic commentary towards Tony in this thread that has nothing to do with the widow...

Had the thread starter stated...the widow is a friend, my sister, cousin or the cop is a brother/friend...

This thread most likely would not have been placed here in the Political section nor posted at all here at ET because it's too personal. Thus, the thread is here because its "not personal" just like the Capitol Insurrection thread I started many months ago about Capitol Police being beaten as it was occurring live on TV and being live-streamed on Youtube...many ET members showed up to talk about ANTIFA or Chicago's high crime rate.

My point, that's the nature of the Political section.

P.S. There's not one single thread here in the Political section that has stayed on topic unless it's only a few replies.

Looks like an execution considering the police were out in the open (not aiming from behind the protection of a police car) and standing, aiming like a firing squad waiting to be told to shoot.

There seems to be plenty of time to determine if a LESS lethal force could have been used...

Actually, they're supposed to have the training to do such (use less lethal options) in situations like that.

Regardless, there are good cops and bad cops. Yet, something went horribly wrong in that particular situation. My guess, the first police shot was someone not trained properly nor a sergeant. The shots that followed were in reaction to the first shot...not in reaction to what the criminal was actually doing at the moment.

The last two shots while the guy was already down from the initial shots...those individuals that fired the last two shots should be fired and/or arrested. It looked so bad, I was waiting for one of the cops to yell that the guy "flinched after his body hit the ground/head turned away from the cops".

Edit: The police has issues with the cop firing those last shots...

It was a firing squad execution, no need to dissect or make excuses for murderers

How it began. The man was committing no crimes bothering no one and gets murdered by 9 cops.
