Isn't it beautiful?
There're two possibilities :
1) "something" was created from "nothing" at some point ( the big bang? ) or
2) "something" was always there with no starting point

both are hard to imagine for me.

How protons, electrons, quarks or other elementary ( maybe they aren't elementary ) molecules differ from "space" between them?

it's probably a fake picture estimating how it might look...by looking at other galaxies that are far away from us...and from what we know about our own galaxy.

It's interesting to be able to see the difference in magnitudes and yet at the same time know instinctively that it is meaningless. Can meaning not be found in time and space, but only come out of it?
