this is an interesting Area to post.. i wanna tell you guys a little bit about myself

just to put it on the record.. this is the straddle trade i was modeling to purchase right at the weekly opex.. which would have been buying the weekly 620 straddle at the weekly opex for the next weeks expiration..

this is the 620 625 strangle.. you can see you have to be alot snappier to get in and out on this one.. the theta be hurting ya..

still hating the fact that i can't just post the trade up for sale for one a great speculative gain in a day would be.. IE you make 10 percent then exit.. put it in as a day order.. can't do it because this triggers pattern day trade.

SEEMS LIKE alot of people are closing out their Vix trades that are bearish on the vix! who would have thought to do such a thing with the vix at 14! haha smart players these guys..
 
looking at C# some more.. so much like alot of the other languages i've looked at.. looks like a script.. php so similar.. declare variables, through them through some conditional structures and spit them back out to the view..

thinking more and more about the vix.. seeing as it i saw that abunch of deep in the money puts were exited.. or at least i speculate.. i wonder what the risk reward is on selling some deep in the money puts on the vix is.. i mean there could be literally 4 dollars more downside haha but highly unlikely..... the risk is back up at this point.... all these suckers short premium are playing with fire.. now its time to buy premium and gamma scaple.. i'm sure no professions are hedging a ton of short positions right now ..or at least i speculate.. so i'll look more into the deep in the money put sale.. and see if i can come up with a way to exploit the vol term structure on the vix as well synthetically with options..

i've left my work in excel for a while.. kinda frustration i'm not like a robot with this shit.. haha but i'm so dying to rip down some weekly and monthlys opex data... i wanna get with the opex trade..

i like ninja trader.. i'm thinking of using it more again to combine with more volatility trading.. bollinger bands.. and maybe something more custom would be interesting.. not that i need to make work for myself.. but i was brain storming thinking to myselff.. where is the indicator that shows vol changes along with the underlying chart? well that is the bollinger bands.. probably need to read the parameters for that and look at a few ways people use it.. seems like considering its a standard deviation thing it would be perfect for volatility trading... you see securities like wire down into low vol.. and then jump.. just my thoughts.

looks like the slightly biased upside butterfly.. has done super well the last two days.. i just keep thinkig that this is either going to end in a spike up.. or a big draw down.. which might not come right away either.. drift before the cliff.. i wanna put on opex trade on.. so volatility on friday would be rad.
 
the other thing is i'm going to track the weekly straddle on just otm strangle into opex..

little frustrated with myself for my lack of reading... my buddy who i'm trading his account called .. he is buying a house to flip out in LA ... he is gonna possibly need the money or at least some of it.. wow.. its like fuck.. my account is locked up because of PDT and now the other account i'm trading is gonna lose funding! vixy trade still bugging me.. its got my account balance down..
