Good morning folks.

Yesterday I filled out an account by adding as much SAAS as I could about 950 shares.

Later today I will flush out some of the theories behind these moves.

ACHN-

SAAS-

I expect near term movement here

CLSN & AMRS are two month bets for a doubles.

You can see three of the four are bio's. I have taken a large position in Thermo Electron as a stabilizer, a safer play that's also breaking out on the chart TMO. I'm in at $57-$58 and it's only $59. Conservative players out there who like big wins should buy TMO... Remember when I gave you all Carter's CRI? Same thing here I think.

Good morning stoned. Are you an investor or a trader? Either way, after all that fundamental analysis on Leap Frog, the trend was destroyed by 25%. That's why, as a trader, I find fundamentals useless.

I still hold LF we are not down near that much but i guess you are talking top to bottom. My thoughts on LF are simple-- at it's base they face competition from all these cool gadgets yet when I see a small kid playing on a I Pad or phone or their other thingie I want to puke. The idea of a learning tool holds sway over me as a father. My kid has passed on from LF 1 and never went back... this is a problem-- he downloads free crap on my phone. But he his learning nothing. Had this new LF product been available as a parent i would of 100% made the switch here first.. so we have first toy function and now we have a real replacement cycle and we keep all these kids buying individual games longer and we are helping to smarten up our youths. For me there is a lot of positive there and a company that would make a very nice target for a bigger toy co I would think. We shall see.

Am I trader? How does that sound. I am the stoned INVESTOR and I have been doing this for many many many many years it seems. If you don't like fundamental research then you are no better than a machine and you will cease to exist in this new era of investing very quickly. I am the guy who is already in the stk you find breaking out and daytrade for 50 lousy cents. There are single hitters and there are home run hitters I am a home run hitter who is proudly an investor.

Alright first up as promised Fundamental news on ACHN today.

Also they closed the merger quickly at WZE that will move-- I've got my brother in that one but myself on the sidelines, may jump in today, may flip ACHN who knows... all these fun choices to make based on future products in exciting companies, mergers, new breakthroughs in HepC, settling patent disputes (CigX) it's fascinating... oh yea you just itch your crotch and jockey hump dailies... all you see is numbers... you are half way to robot already.

This is not true and I could say the same about you fundamental guys. As you mentioned at the beginning of the thread, this site is called elite TRADER and Day trading is not the only style of trading.

How is this a new era of fundamental investing rather than a new era of trading?

Lucky every word is true.

The new era in fundamental comes I believe from all the quant wonks who think they have everything figured out. How are you different than a computer what do you bring to the table.

Investing of any kind is a method or what I like to call a blend. I use many styles and angles.

I use my 25 plus years experience buying and selling what some would say are somewhat risky stocks to narrow a buy list down. Then I apply TA. Then I look for other possible catalysts-- for example the move into ACHN was a combo of chart read and knowledge of an impending analyst day... looked like some good news might come, which it did. Now I was already in on the good news because I have some recent upgrade activity and high price targets-- put it all together and you have a good whatever you want to all it. and you're welcome.

Next up watch our SAAS already looking on the daily like it's about to rip.~stoney
