Yes, this is a majority-male site and frankly, I'd prefer it stay that way. No one wants to hear that bullshit about the lack of female traders and all of that other leftist bullshit that comes up when certain groups are present.

It will stay that way because women are biologically wired differently. So they tend to hangout more on Tiktok and Instagram taking pictures and making videos.

Trading/investing is very competitive. Unless we make a separate market for women, I don't see how we can achieve a 50% ratio of women participation.

I love the game... But it's a sausage fest, a sexist misogynistic sausage nerd fest, historically and today.
Women were (and maybe still are) not allowed to play in the same tournament as men, and it's not a physical sport.
We still have only women tournaments and best women price, a bit like miss universe sexist crap.

There's no such thing as men-only chess. However, there's women-only chess. I totally understand why they need to have a women-only chess because they are not able to compete with men. Same goes to sports, motorsports, football/soccer.

Judit Polgar was ranked 8th at her peak. And the second women is way way down below. So yes, she is an outlier. The only one. But it only happened once since the beginning of time, and never again (so far).

I think there was one member who portrayed himself as female, Xela, he/she was on ET for a few years and had a really high post to like ratio, probably because he/she claimed to be female and had a nice female avatar pic, and all the thirsty simps on here up voted her posts.

Turned out she was a man.

There are still other active members at this forum that are women portraying themselves as a man.

That's not unusual on social media (e.g. tradingview, twitter, facebook, stocktwits) including trading forums especially in financial websites that allow commentary from their members due to the history of inappropriate behavior from men to women about financial matters on public websites / forums.

For example, I remember a woman member here at ET that was once in an argument with another member (male) about technical analysis...he responded via a derogatory sexual comment.

the comment being disputed is that women are inherently worse traders than men are. Do you agree or disagree with that statement? Everything else is some fantasy discussion you are having in your own head.
