Not just some, a good number of my friends(females) are into trading. The stats are changing.
Didnt jack schwager interview about 50 traders in total in his Market Wizards four books.
I can only remember 1 women in 50, Linda Rasky
Beautiful. Just to show that trading can be for anyone who is experienced and understood the whole concept.
The proportion is certainly low, but the numbers are picking up. Women can be great risk managers, my wife sometimes advises me good enough to formulate a new strategy.

Not really. Many women traders are successful. Don’t know why people think most of the investors are male.
Because women in general are not risk takers (there are always a few exceptions). Women have never needed to be risk takers, they have evolved to be caregivers.
Men need to compete and prove themselves for status and to attract the best females, so are risk takers by nature. Had to take risks when going out to hunt.
Nowadays some women are trying to compete with men for high paying jobs (but not the lower paying ones). Very few will end up being happy doing this over the long run.
