Thinkorswim problem

Thanks WRB. I dont have a second computer right now. My IMAC is broken...
But if i dont get this to work...ill have to wait till i buy a new computer.
Would be great to be able to start trading papermoney asap tho.

"So actually there is nothing special about TOS for me if there are other better softwares that works with TD Ameritrade. I would like to be able to start by trading papermoney if that is possible.

And if anyone know of a cheaper broker that also have a great option software im interested in hearing about that too."

I am curious what happens if you create another user account on your machine and try to install it there.

Yes, its a new computer and i have checked that it meets all the specified requirements.
I have tried both versions.

Yes, I read that somewhere too.

I have downloaded the latest from www.java.com

And then i checked if i had the latest running on the same site
and it confirmed it.

Is there something else i should do maybe?
 
Maybe spend 50 bucks on a computer geek to come to your home and work hands on. I have a guy that comes in and seems to quickly solve almost any problem I'm having with my computer set up. Don't know anything about Windows 10, but I assume others are running TOS under 10 with no problems. Microsoft is famous for releasing buggy software, using their customers to find the bugs and then charging them for the debugged version (an "upgrade" :D).

Yes i might have to do that.

I now also have tried to

1. clean the registery
2. run my computer without the router
3. run TOS in compatability mode for windows 8, 7 and vista.

Nothing worked.

I watched Number 3 on youtube where it solved the same problem but for a different program
but didnt work for TOS.
